On Oct. 13th, Prof. Neringa Narbutiene, Vice Rector of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) had a formal visit to Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST). Representatives from International Office, International Student Affairs Center and relevant schools welcomed and received the delegation, and carried out discussion on cooperation.
Both parties introduced the discipline layout and international cooperation respectively, and expressed strong intention for cooperation. In consideration of the common disciplines and majors of the two universities, both parties agreed to promote the exchange of staff and students, joint research projects, as well as double degree programs on both bachelor and master level.
Representatives also expressed ideas to sign memorandum of cooperation.
Located in Kaunas, the second biggest city of Lithuania, Kaunas University of Technology was established in 1922, ranking top among Lithuanian technical universities and providing education for bachelor, master and doctor levels. As present, KTU has 9 faculties, 10 science institutes, as well as nearly 12000 students (at bachelor, master and doctor levels).
